The prime objective of the Fayetteville College of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences, Inc. is to prepare our students to become successful members of the cosmetology profession. We also prepare students for the State Board Examination. In order to fulfill our objectives, we not only teach the techniques and artistry of cosmetology, we also teach poise, charm, self reliance, good business practices, and personal and public hygiene.
The student will learn knowledge and skills to prepare for work as a hair stylist, hair color technician, make-up artist, salon manager, salon owner, or product demonstrator.

The school has been established for over fifty years and under the owership of Rufus T. Hereford for over eight years.
The school occupies a floor space of over 6000 square feet. The building has one level which contain a reception area, senior clinic, dispensary, two rest rooms, basics and junior departments (classrooms), aesthetics department, manicuring department, a student library and an office.
The school is equipped with student stations, shampoo bowls, sterilizers, manicuring tables and stock mannequins, dryers, lockers for each student and is handicap accessible.
